How to Handle a Bufo Toad

There comes a time when you have to stop screaming like a little girl and humanely move a poisonous Bufo Toad. Whether it be to protect your pet or your husband, this article will instruct you on the safe and easy way to do so.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tall bucket
  1. Step 1

    Place your thumb on the head of the toad, above the mouth, in between the eyes and your middle finger under the front of the toad's mouth.

  2. Step 2

    Clasp with just enough strength to have a handle on him and lift the toad up.

  3. Step 3

    Place gently in the bucket.

  4. Step 4
    Bufo Toads secrete a poisonouse liquid from the glands on the sides of their head.

    Relocate the toad to a safer area for your family and for him.

  • Wash your hands very well after handling any animal.
