Instructions

1. Sign in to your Windows Live Messenger account. If you don't have the program, download it from the Windows Live Messenger website (explore.live.com/windows-live-messenger).

2. Double-click a contact from your contact list. If your friend has a webcam connected to his computer, the "Start a video call" option will appear.

3. Click "Start a video call." Wait for your person to answer and chat away.

4. Click "Full screen" to expand the chat window to fill your screen.
