Video calls are a great way to keep in touch with long distance friends and relatives. Here's how to use Windows Live Messenger for keeping in touch with your family and friends.

Things You'll Need:

  • Windows Live Messenger
  • A friend or relative with the same program
  1. Step 1

    Sign into your Windows Live Messenger.

  2. Step 2

    On the top right of the tool bar there is a menu. Click it.

  3. Step 3

    Pull your cursor down to actions. This will pull up another menu.

  4. Step 4

    From this menu, select video and then start a video call. Wait for your person to answer and chat away.

Tips & Warnings
  • Check the settings on your webcam. This will ensure the best possible picture for the person you are chatting with.
