If you are always purchasing waffles for yourself or your children you might be amazed at how easy making your own frozen waffles can be. Save money and increase the variety of waffles you can have readily available by freezing your own!
Make up your favorite waffle receipt or use one of the 112 found at http://www.mrbreakfast.com/recipe_collection.asp?subcategoryid=5. I tend to make pretty standard waffles and we eat them up pretty fast so I’m not sure about the longevity of all possible ingredients. Cook up your waffles and let them cool. Step2
Place as many wedges as will fit into a freezer zip lock bag and place in the freezer.
Step3
Take them out as you need them and pop them in the toaster. It will take them longer to cook as they are thicker than store bought frozen-waffles. Test them after they pop up and re-toast if needed.
Step4
Top with butter and syrup and enjoy! Also work great in bread pudding recipes.
