New Year's Eve is the one time where kids are not told to go to sleep. They can stay up till midnight if they make it. To help kids stay up till midnight and see that ball drop, see these steps.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • activities
  • music
  • pajamas
  • noisemakers
Step1
Provide them with activities. Either give them coloring books, paint sets, or puzzles. If they are young try putting cartoon videos like Dora or Sesame Street.
Step2
Have a dance party. See who can dance the most till midnight or if they are little have a kareoke party. Or play twister moves with the older ones.
Step3
Play video games. Play bowling, car racing, or any other family games and take score of who's winning.
Step4
Have a contest of who can stay up till midnight. Give a prize for whoever does.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use noisemakers to act silly.
