How to Make Apricot Liqueur

  • 1 lb. sugar
  • 1 lb. dried apricots
  • 1 qt. vodka

Instructions

    • 1

      Mix sugar and dried apricots together and put into one-quart jar.

    • 2

      Fill with vodka. Screw on lid.

    • 3

      Shake and invert end-over-end each day for two weeks.

    • 4

      Strain through cheesecloth or coffee filter into clean jar or pretty bottle.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can re-use--only once--the apricots and sugar for another bottle of liqueur.
