How to Make Apricot Liqueur

Give the gift of homemade apricot liqueur to warm the recipients all the way down to their toes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 lb. sugar
  • 1 lb. dried apricots
  • 1 qt. vodka
  1. Step 1

    Mix sugar and dried apricots together and put into one-quart jar.

  2. Step 2

    Fill with vodka. Screw on lid.

  3. Step 3

    Shake and invert end-over-end each day for two weeks.

  4. Step 4

    Strain through cheesecloth or coffee filter into clean jar or pretty bottle.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can re-use--only once--the apricots and sugar for another bottle of liqueur.
