Decorating your home at Christmastime can be a wonderful tradition. What if you live in an apartment? You probably don't have a yard, which means that you can't place any large decorations there. You also can't put lights on the outside of your building. This shouldn't stop you from decorating your home during Christmas. Here is how to have visible decorations at your apartment during Christmas.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

String Christmas lights around your windows. Don't let the fact that you live in an apartment stop you from doing this. Just place the lights on the inside.

  2. Step 2

Place Christmas-themed stickers on your windows. If you find a two-sided sticker, you can simply put these stickers on the inside of your windows. If not, then simply place them on the outside of your windows since they shouldn't cause a problem with your landlord.

  3. Step 3

Place candles on the inside of your windows. These are a classic way to decorate your home during the Christmas season.

  4. Step 4

Put your Christmas tree in front of a visible window. This will allow anybody who passes by your apartment to enjoy your Christmas tree and all of the lights and ornaments on the tree.

  5. Step 5

Spray fake snow on the inside of your windows. This is a different way to decorate your apartment during the Christmas season. This can be especially fun if you live in a place that doesn't receive any snow.

  6. Step 6

Hang any leftover Christmas tree ornaments in your windows. Obviously, you'll want to do this only with a couple of ornaments so that your window isn't too cluttered.

  7. Step 7

If you have two windows close to one another and you are able to do so, place a wreath between the two windows. Your landlord shouldn't mind as long as putting up the wreath does no real damage to the building itself. This is a nice finishing touch to your decorations.
