Instructions

    • 1

Fill a large bowl with water. You can either make it cold, hot or lukewarm. Normally people will use cold water for this type of treatment. After you have filled the large bowl with water, place it in front of a chair with a towel under the bowl.

    • 2

Add sea salt to the water in the bowl. This amount varies based on the volume of water. Normally, put at least 3 tablespoons of sea salt into the water. Allow the salt to settle for at least five minutes before putting your feet into it.

    • 3

Put your feet into the water, fully covering them. Let your feet soak for at least 10 minutes. Then dry them off on the towel.

    • 4

Dip some cotton wool in surgical spirit and dab some between your toes after showering. An antiseptic, surgical spirit will help dry out areas where perspiration may form on your feet.

    • 5

Spray an antiperspirant on your feet. Even though the product may be designed for underarms, it will work on feet too.

Tips & Warnings

  • Sea salt helps remove dead skin cells from your feet and clear all the bacteria that cause smelly feet.

  • If you enjoy very cold water, make sure you don't soak your feet too long due to the threat of hurting your feet.
