You don't have to toss old newspapers into the trash or even the recycling bin. Newspapers can be utilized in many different ways to extend the life of a seemingly useless item. Read on to learn how to reuse newspapers.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Use old newspapers to clean windows. Simply crumple a couple sheets of newspapers, spray glass with window cleaner and rub the glass with sheets of newspaper. The glass will sparkle.

  2. Step 2

    Donate newspapers to local schools or day care centers. Schools are always doing craft projects like paper mache.

  3. Step 3

    Save newspapers to use as packing material for moving or mailing.

  • Instead of keeping your daily subscription to the local newspaper, consider canceling or reducing your subscription to a couple days a week. Try using the Internet and television for your daily news. You eliminate the waste altogether.
