Pick up a registration form from your local county auditors office or online.

Fill out the required information on the form, including your birth date, drivers license number or Social Security number.

You don't have to fill in the "requested" information, such as telephone number, county and political party. However, if you don't fill out a party you will not be allowed to vote in the primary election.
Step4
Drop off your registration at the county auditors office no later than one week after you received it.

You can also register to vote when you apply for or renew a driver's license. Just ask at the counter.
You must register to vote 11 days before the election.
You can submit voter registrations for other people, with their consent. However, it is illegal to get paid to register others to vote.
It is against the law to falsify information on your voter registration.
You are not allowed to submit two registrations to vote.
