How to Make an Essential Oil Room Spray

Many people find that they are allergic to the chemical perfumes used in most air fresheners and room sprays on the market. Here is a simple way to use essential oils to create your own signature scents that also provide health benefits.

Things You'll Need:

• Favorite Essential Oil or Oil Blend
• Mild Solvent
• Distilled Water
• Spray Bottle

1. Fill the spray bottle with 1 cup of distilled water.

2. Add 8-10 drops of your favorite essential oils or oil blend.

3. Add 1/2 teaspoon of a mild solvent such as castile soap, glycerin or polysorbate 20.

4. Cap the bottle tightly and swirl the liquid in the bottle for 30 seconds to mix the ingredients.

5. Spray liberally and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

• Feel free to add more oil if you desire, but be sure to add more solvent. The amount of oils and solvent should be kept approximately equal.
