Many people find that they are allergic to the chemical perfumes used in most air fresheners and room sprays on the market. Here is a simple way to use essential oils to create your own signature scents that also provide health benefits.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Fill the spray bottle with 1 cup of distilled water.

  2. Step 2

    Add 8-10 drops of your favorite essential oils or oil blend.

  3. Step 3

    Add 1/2 teaspoon of a mild solvent such as castile soap, glycerin or polysorbate 20.

  4. Step 4

    Cap the bottle tightly and swirl the liquid in the bottle for 30 seconds to mix the ingredients.

  5. Step 5

    Spray liberally and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Feel free to add more oil if you desire, but be sure to add more solvent. The amount of oils and solvent should be kept approximately equal.
