We are surrounded by color. Most people take it for granted. Every color has a frequency all its own and can affect certain areas of the body, as well as our moods and emotions. Read on to learn how to use color therapy.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pieces of cloth of different colors of the rainbow
  • Light (sunlight works well)
  1. Step 1

Study each color. Find a book or some information on line that pertains to each color and its affects. There are several books on the market today that deal with color therapy.

  2. Step 2

Experiment with different colors to see how they affect your mood, sense of being and other factors. Notice how you feel when you sit in a blue room compared to a yellow room. Keep a journal of your findings.

  3. Step 3

Wear different colors to see how they affect how others treat you or how you feel while you're wearing them. Try wearing just white or black. Is there a difference?

  4. Step 4

Keep a journal. Notice the trends. What colors are you attracted to when your happy, sad or upset?

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep an open mind.
