on 10/19/2009 At first, my husband thought this was just a kick I was on. Then, I placed two identical kitchen towels, side by side...one washed in store bought items, and one washed in this eco-friendly recipe using white vinegar in the rinse cycle. He picked the eco-friendly washed towel immediately!! He noticed it was softer, fluffier, and overall cleaner. He even agreed that our old store bought washed towel felt heavier and gummy. It has now been 5-6 months later, and now the "kick" is buying different soaps for different scents. Thanks for this recipe!! Very Happily Niamh.
