    • 1 bar of soap, not antibacterial
    • 1/2-cup of borax
    • 1/2-cup of baking soda
    • Grater
    • Wooden spoon
    • Resealable container

        Grate bar of soap into a resealable container. Use an un-scented natural soap without added chemicals or other additives.

        Pour in a 1/2-cup of borax and a 1/2-cup baking soda.

        Mix well with your hands, a wooden spoon or other utensil.

        Use 1-tablespoon for small or lightly soiled loads and 2 tablespoons for large or heavily soiled loads.
