Step1
Be honest with yourself and figure out why you ae trying to lose weight in the first place. Is it a health issue or do you just want to lose a few pounds here and there? Get a physical and discuss your options with your doctor.

Make a promise to yourself that you will not let others influence you. Stand firm. If they are your friends, they will respect your decision. Don't let yourself be tempted by your comfort foods.
Step3
Don't let guilt be your motivation. If you're embarking on a weight loss journey, it has to be your decision. If you try and do it for someone else, you will lose interest and all your efforts will backfire.
Step4
Set small reachable goals. Keep a record of what you're doing and what's working. Don't weigh yourself every day. That can get kind of discouraging. Try every two or three days. When you reach a goal, don't forget to reward yourself.
