Vegetable bean soup is a great dish for those cold winter days. This recipe is easy and tasty too. Read on to learn how to make vegetable bean soup.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Gather your ingredients. The ingredients for vegetable bean soup are a 28 oz. can of whole tomatoes cut into pieces, a 16 oz. can of pork and beans, one 10 oz. pack of frozen corn, 1 cup water, 1 cup of sliced celery, 1/2 cup chopped green pepper, 1 tsp. oregano, salt and pepper.

  2. Step 2

    In a large saucepan, combine all the ingredients. Simmer for 25 minutes or until the veggies are tender.

  3. Step 3

    Salt and pepper to taste. Makes 8 cups, enough for four large servings.

Tips & Warnings
  • This is great with cornbread or fresh baked bread broke off in chunks. I also like to have shredded cheese over it.
