• An empty journal
• Photos
• Glue stick
• Pen

• Large mailing envelope

1. Begin the journal with short instructions on how the book works. Include any rules about the length of time each person is allowed to keep the traveling journal before sending it out. Make sure each person knows who gets the book next.

2. Start the journal by giving each friend a page where they can write their current address. Personalize each page by cutting out a funny picture of the person and gluing it to the paper.
