Things You'll Need:
- 2 packages of Ramen Noodles
- A spoon
- A bowl
- A pitcher of water
- A microwave oven
-
Step 1
Place your microwave safe bowl in the microwave oven
My bowl I believe is a one quart bowl I bought at the local Dollar Store! -
Step 2
The amount of water I useFill the bowl to about half to three quarter of the way full
NOTE- Heated water expands do not overfill
I use about 1 and a half bottles of 20 oz. of bottled water
currently -
Step 3
Set the power to high and set the timer to approximately 5 minutes
- This will of course vary on microwave oven, choices in how hot you
like your soup, noodles etc. -
Step 4
While the Water is heating take both packages of Ramen Noodles and divide them in fourths in the bag.
Note- Do not open bag first! You will have noodles everywhere! -
Step 5
Open package(s) and remove the flavor packet(s), set these aside.
You do not have to use both packets of noodles or flavoring if you
desire to use less your option! -
Step 6
When the water is heated then place your noodles in the water.
Be sure to press the noodles into the water submerging them as completely as possible.
Let this stand till the noodles are soft. I usually heat them for another minute (personal preference) -
Step 7
When your noodles are completely soft add the flavor packet(s) as you desire. If you used both packets of noodles you may want both packets of flavoring.
Be sure to mix in the flavoring with your spoon. This is important to avoid clumps, etc. -
Step 8
At this point I let them either stand or heat for another minute or so to allow the noodles to take on some of the flavoring.
-
Step 9
My second bowl installed before I remove from ovenTake out your bowl carefully from the microwave.
It is very hot.
I use a second bowl by placing the heated one into the spare.
This prevents you from burning your fingertips. -
Step 10
Eat and enjoy!
