Things You'll Need:

  • Chemically Treated Hair
  • Special Shampoo and Conditioner.
  1. Step 1

    Choose only one chemical process for to your hair. Color, straighten, perm, whatever you choose. But it is important to only do one. process.

  2. Step 2

    Shampoo and condition hair with products made specifically for chemically treated hair.

  3. Step 3

    When combing out wet hair that is chemically treated make sure to start at the bottom and comb slowly through one inch or so at a time.

  4. Step 4

    At least once a week condition hair with an intense treatment for damaged hair.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use a wide tooth comb to untangle wet hair.
  • Never blow dry chemically treated hair.
