How to Make a Paradise Cocktail

For those drinkers who find themselves entranced by gin, the Paradise is a welcome addition to their cocktail repertoire. The Paradise is a smooth classic drink whose subtle charms have seemingly been lost to time, but there's no reason you shouldn't seek out its ingredients and put the cocktail into your beverage rotation.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Gin
  • Apricot brandy
  • Orange juice
  • Cocktail shaker and strainer
  • Cocktail glass (chilled)
  • Ice cubes
  1. Step 1

    Add ice to your cocktail shaker, along with the following:

    1 1/2 ounces gin

  3. Step 3

    1/4 ounce apricot brandy

  4. Step 4

    1 1/4 ounces orange juice

  5. Step 5

    Shake the shaker for a good 6-10 count, and then strain the drink into a chilled cocktail glass (there should be NO ice in the cocktail glass).

  6. Step 6

    Enjoy your Paradise Cocktail.
