• 1 (16oz) one step angel food cake mix
• ½ cup strawberry soda (vess)
• 2 tsp vanilla extract OR 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp almond extract
• 2 cups shredded coconut
• ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
• large bowl
• cookie sheet
• parchment paper

1. The first step in baking angel macaroon Cookies with this recipe is in large bowl, beat cake mix, soda, and extract on low speed for 30 seconds, then on medium speed for 1 minute. Fold in, with a spatula, coconut and nuts.

2. The second step in baking angel macaroon cookies with this recipe is to line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

3. Drop by teaspoonsful onto the prepared cookie sheet.

4. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 8 ½ minutes or until lightly browned.

5. Let cool. Scrape off of paper.
