Don't forget about transportation when planning your wedding. Getting the bride and groom and the wedding party to and from the ceremony is critical, since you obviously can't have a wedding without them. You want them to arrive in style and on time.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide how many people will be riding. If you are transporting people outside of the wedding party or the immediate family, an elegant black car, which can seat up to six, can substitute for a stretch limo.

  2. Step 2

Choose your colors. Decide between a traditional white or black stretch limo. There is also the stretch hummer or the formal Rolls Royce or Bentley. You may even consider a Grey Ghost or Silver Shadow if you want to make a grand entrance.

  3. Step 3

Determine how long you will need the transportation. For example, decide if the limo will have to wait for the bride and groom until after the reception or just get them to the church and reception before calling it a day.

  4. Step 4

Make phone calls to various transportation companies and get a range of prices for the various services offered before making a final decision.

  5. Step 5

Discuss if you can get a discount on the ride to the airport for the honeymoon as part of the transportation package.

  6. Step 6

Make sure you are clear on the place and time and how many cars you will need for the bridal party, groomsmen and family members who will be included in the transportation.

  7. Step 7

Sign the contract and be specific about any tips or hidden costs that you will be ask to pay at the end of the night.

Tips & Warnings
  • There are many different options for transportation these days from a horse-drawn carriage to old vintage cars or even hot air balloons.
  • Make sure the limo is fully-stocked with drinks and food for your big day.
