Know which stores carry them. Webkinz are no longer just available at Hallmark stores and gift ships. They are popping up everywhere now, even in grocery stores. Still, the Hallmark and gift shops often have the best selection. Check your area for all the stores that carry Webkinz and take note which stores tend to have the most recent releases.

Step 2
Make sure the retailer gets to know you. If you’re a regular at a particular gift shop, the shop owner may give you a heads up on which Webkinz they have on order. Always ask. Most retailers will happily tell you what they have coming in, even if they can't give you a definitive arrival date.

Put your name on a waiting list. Once a retailer becomes familiar with you, ask if you can be put on a call list for when they get the latest Webkinz releases in. It can't hurt to ask!

Check EBay. Ebay sellers are known for scooping up the hottest new Webkinz. But beware, you will have to pay more for it. After all, the Ebay seller wants to make money too, so they will definitely mark up the Webkinz price or inflate the shipping charges to make a profit.

Be patient. Even the most popular Webkinz will show up in your area eventually. It may take weeks or even a month after the initial release, but if you’re patient you will eventually get your hands on any Webkinz that you’ve been looking for.
