Things You'll Need

• FOR THE 7 UP CAKE
• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 1 small box instant vanilla pudding
• 4 eggs
• 3/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1 can (10 oz.) 7up
• 9x13 cake pan
• small amount of Crisco or other cooking grease
• a dash of flour
• FOR THE CAKE TOPPING
• 1 can crushed pineapple (1.5 cups)
• 1.5 cups coconut
• 1 stick butter
• 1.5 cups sugar
• 3 Tbsp. flour
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• medium saucepan

Instructions

1. The first thing you need to do is mix all the cake ingredients (yellow cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, veg oil, and 7-Up)in a bowl very well.

2. Lightly grease and sprinkle flour into your 9x13 cake pan.

3. Pour the mixed cake ingredients into your greased and floured pan.

4. Bake the cake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes. While the cake is cooking prepare the cake topping.

5. TOPPING > Combine topping ingredients into a sauce pan & cook on medium heat while stirring until well mixed and sugar and butter are dissolved, about 5 minutes.

6. Let the 7-up cake cool.

7. Pour the topping all over cooled cake, serve and enjoy!
