When you are showing visitors around Los Angeles, there are a few restaurants that you must not miss for breakfast. The big three are Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, The Griddle and Toast. In the land of the see and be seen, celebrities often stop by these hot spots to get a taste of Tinseltown's finest breakfast treats. Read on to learn how to entertain out-of-towners for breakfast in Los Angeles.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Arrive to the restaurants expecting a long wait. If it’s the weekend, it could be up to an hour wait at any of these restaurants. Make the most of it. Grab a menu and decide what you want to eat. Or, if you're at Toast at Third Street, take a stroll amongst rows of boutiques while you wait.
Step2
Ask the waiter to list the restaurant's signature breakfast dishes. Each person should order one of those entrees and share with the table so that everyone can experience all that the restaurant has to offer.
Step3
While you're at breakfast, pull out your postcards. Place the postcards on the table, revealing either the name of the attraction on the front or the description of the place on the back. Create a game where the person who can give the most descriptions for the names of places, or the most names for the description of places, will get to choose which place the group will visit next.
Step4
Enjoy your breakfast and head to a tourist attraction.

Tips & Warnings

  • These restaurants are packed around brunch time during the weekends. To avoid the crowd, head to these breakfast spots before 10:00 a.m.
