From Quick Guide: Fondue
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Reisling
  • Moscato D’ Asti
  • White Zinfandel
  • 2 bags semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 bags white chocolate chips
  • 2 pots
  • Wine glasses
  • Small serving plates
  • Strawberries
  1. Step 1

Go to your local grocery store and purchase four bags of chocolate chips, strawberries, Reisling, Moscato D’ Asti and White Zinfandel. If you can't find these wines at your grocery store, head to a liquor store or wine shop.

  2. Step 2

Melt the white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate in separate pots. Cook on a stove top at medium heat for about five minutes. If it boils, turn down the heat. Stir the chocolate as it melts down.

  3. Step 3

Pour chocolate into bowls for dipping.

  4. Step 4

Wash strawberries and any other fruit of choice and place on a plate or serving tray.

  5. Step 5

Serve dessert wine by the glass.

Tips & Warnings
  • If the chocolate is too thick, add 1/8 cup of canola oil as it is cooking in the pot. This thins the chocolate.
  • You can also purchase pretzels, marshmallows and other types of fruit to dip into the chocolate.
