How to Reformat a Hard Drive

Things You’ll Need:

• A second hard drive
• or a windows XP install disc

1. If you are using the second hard drive, plug it in and make sure it is reconized.
2. Right click on the one you wish to format and click format. make sure your windows files are on the second hard disc
3. If you are using an install disc, put it in the drive and reset your computer.
4. when it comes up "press any key to boot from CD" you ... Press any key! when it comes up the i nstall screen, pres the following in order = Enter-F8-esc-d and follow the delete screen. then just click on create and click format! You are then done
