If you have dry callused feet, winter is the best time to make them touchable soft and pretty again. Don't think it's possible? Give it a try. Your feet will be noticeably softer and smoother after just 1 day!
First and foremost I want to point out, DO NOT get Vaseline brand lotion for this task, it is not strong enough. Get the real deal Vaseline, thick, gooey and pure petroleum jelly.
Step2
It is important to have two pairs of everyday socks, and two pairs of thick socks. However, if by some chance all you have are thin socks, get some freezer bags that are big enough to put your foot in comfortably.
Step3
After a long hard day at work, soak your feet in warm water for at least 20 minutes. Afterwards pat your feet dry and apply a coat of Vaseline to the entire bottom of one foot. It does not need to be a handful, but it should be enough that it would not rub in easily.
Step4
Put the thin sock on over the Vaseline, and then place the thicker sock on over the top of it. Or, place a freezer bag over your entire foot, and then place any sock over the top of the bag. Then do the same for your other foot.
Step5
If you use a bag make sure you use socks that have not been overly stretched, as you'll need a tight sock to keep the bag from coming off of your foot.
Step6
Wear the gooey Vaseline filled socks the rest of the evening and to bed. When you get up in the morning you will see results after just one night! Be sure and throw the used socks into the wash for the next day.
Step7
Follow these steps again the second night using the second set of socks, and or freezer bags. The used socks you put in the wash in the morning should be finished up for the next days use. You can do this night after night all winter long to keep your feet perfectly soft and beautiful. As an added bonus during the cold season it KEEPS YOUR FEET SUPER WARM AND TOASTY! Which may just save you money on the heating bill.
Tips & Warnings
Most people will see satisfying results in just one or two nights. You can stop whenever you want, and do it again anytime you need to.
Note if you have to use freezer bags, I strongly recommend waiting until your going to bed or not walking around much. The freezer bags will make you feel like your slipping and sliding so BE CAREFUL!
As a safer option to freezer bags, if you have no thick socks, use three or four pairs of thin socks. Especially if your prone to twisting your ankles or if you are not a very balanced person.
I don't want anyone ice skating in their freezer bags!
