Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

You can start with any number of chips placed in 2 even stacks, side by side on a table. Trying mastering the shuffle with 6 chips and then work your way up.

  2. Step 2

Place your thumb on the lower left corner of the left stack and your index finger on the upper left corner. Your middle finger should be in the space between the top 2 stacks. Your ring finger goes on the upper right corner of the right stack, while the pinky is on the lower right corner.

  3. Step 3

Use your middle finger to life up BOTH stacks, and lightly push each stack in with the other fingers as you lift.

  4. Step 4

When they're in place, relax the tension in your middle finger and gravity will drop them together.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try using two separate colors of chips to shuffle to chart your progress. A successful stack should have alternating colors.
  • Practice, practice, practice – eventually you shouldn't even be pushing the chips together. Lifting the chips up with your fingers is the ultimate goal.
