This is a reduced sugar recipe.

YIELD: 4 dozen

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 c margarine
  • 3/4 c peanut butter
  • 1/2 c Splenda brown sugar blend
  • 1/2 c Splenda sugar substitute
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 1/2 c all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375'F.

  2. Step 2

    Combine & sift flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Cream the Splenda brown sugar blend, Splenda sugar substitute, and margarine. Add in the egg, mix. Add in the peanut butter and the salt, mix well.

  4. Step 4

    Add in the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until dough is firm.

  5. Step 5

    Form 3/4' balls. Place approximately 2 inches apart evenly on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Use a fork to press criss-cross marks on the surface of the cookies.

  6. Step 6

    Bake until lightly browned, approximately 12 minutes.

  7. Step 7

    Cool slightly on cookie sheet before transferring to cooling racks.
