How to Seamlessly Wrap a Gift

Regardless of the season, beautifully wrapped packages are always in style. Learn how to seamlessly wrap your gift in a few simple steps.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Double-sided tape
• Wrapping paper
• Scissors

1. Place the box or package face down on a flat surface and carefully wrap paper around the surface, securing one end using double-sided tape.

2. Fold the other end of the paper until it is even with the side of the box or package. Either mark the edge with a pencil or fold over to designate the proper length.

3. Cut the wrapping paper approximately 2 inches beyond the mark or fold made in step 2.

4. Fold the wrapping paper under to match the exact seam of the box, and secure with double-sided tape.

5. Fold the paper on the remaining ends down to the bottom of the box or package. The paper may need to be cut to fit. Use double-sided tape to hold the paper in place.

6. Take the remaining wrapping paper and fold toward the inside of the box, then fold the seam under and fasten with double-sided tape.

Tips & Warnings

• Pull wrapping paper as tightly as possible to ensure smooth edges and seams.
• Always fold paper under for a neat, seamless look.
