How to Put a Theme on Mozilla Firefox

The Mozilla website offers free downloads for its Firefox browser that add new features to the program and alter its appearance. Firefox themes change background and button patterns and colors, with designs based on animals, nature, sports and other topics. Once you've downloaded Firefox themes, you can switch between them or return to the original design in the add-ons menu.

Instructions

    • 1

      Go to addons.mozilla.org.

    • 2

Click "Themes" on the left-hand toolbar.

    • 3

Browse the Firefox themes by category, most popular or name. When you find the one you want, click on its image or heading. You will be directed to the download page for that theme, which will tell you if the theme is for Mac or PC and if it is compatible with your version of the browser.

    • 4

Click the button that says "Continue to Download."

    • 5

Click "Add to Firefox." Click "Install Now" in the pop-up window.

    • 6
