Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Share the impetus or background on the topic driving the question for your research project. Share the purpose of your chosen topic of interest, prior research and interest(s), what your conclusions or theories going in were and who the audience for this paper is supposed to be.
Step2
Write the headline and introduction - the headline is generally related to your research not your findings - reserve that for your audience in the first, or thesis paragraph. Generating the first line
or general introduction begins with what is known about your research area or conventional wisdom which suggests that your research either will debunk or contribute to what is known, certainly derives conclusions from what is established and centers the audience.
Step3
Write the second through third sentences of the paragraph. Relate what given information either relies upon for information or leaves unanswered, continue to elaborate on what is known and whether greater evidence may lead to further conclusions or additional questions. Talk about the authors and references you used and expectations and consider inserting one more sentence before the thesis statement or last sentence to develop the thought process that you will work as an outline in your paper. Discuss the context of your findings and hint at your answers.. this is your last or thesis statement concluding the thesis paragraph
