Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Move! Just about anything will do. If your daughter loves to dance, turn on some music. If your son loves action, ask him to show you how high he can jump.
Step2
Play the mimic game. Have your son do what you do. Kids love to act like Mom and Dad. Your daughter might march around funny after you, or lean against the counter with her arms folded if that’s what you’re up to.
Step3
Take “Horsey” a step further, into “Rodeo.” Your son can sit on your belly, grab a handful of your shirt in one hand and wave the other one in the air-all while shouting yahoo! Act like a bucking bull and he'll be all smiles.
Step4
Take your child for a flight. Supporting her body and whizzing her around will bring giggles, especially if you throw in some good plane sound effects and some ups-and-downs.
Step5
Run around with your little one on your back--it’s simple, but kids love it. While they’re up higher than they usually are, they may catch a glimpse of something exciting from your windows or patio door. That can open up even more fun.
