A wise man said: "All the girls are so nice. Where are the bad women coming from then?" It is hard to stay the same carefree and cheerful girl when you have to cook, clean and keep a household. Nobody will warn you about all of the responsibilities after a marriage, except maybe your Mom. You have to get used to your duties and responsibilities. And this is the tip of the iceberg. You have to learn to communicate with your husband on a different level. You have to overcome the feeling that he is not the same inspired and enthusiastic man before the wedding, who was looking at you with the sparkle in his eyes. Now perhaps he looks that way at some other girls. Your reward will be his adoration and the sparkle in his eyes on your 10th Anniversary, when he will tell you that you are the only woman he has ever loved.

on 6/23/2008 Thank's for the comment, graphoniac. I exchanged the order of the Jesus' words with purpose: If you forget WHO you are, you can not help others. Can you do something fun and unexpected for someone else, if you don't enjoy life yourself? By the way, Jesus also said TO HELP PEOPLE in need, not to entertain them.

on 6/23/2008 #2 is incorrect. The qoute is "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." It is not denying taking care of yourself, but it puts the other first. Believe it or not, some people find more joy and energy in helping others. It's how they're made. I'd list "Do something fun and unexpected for someone else" just for those people. :)
