How to Take a Beautiful Baby Picture

This is an easy way to take a professional style baby picture.

Instructions

Things You'll Need

• A Baby
• A Digital Camera
• A Black T-Shirt
• Mom or Dad (to hold the baby)
• A Photo Editing Program

1. 

   Have mom or dad put on a solid black t-shirt and hold baby in their arm(s) close to their body.

2. 

   Take a picture (It's probably best to take a few pictures that way you can choose the best ones). Make sure you have good lighting because you don't want to use a flash unless you have a special kind of flash or a diffuser on your flash. Natural light is good, or even a lamp. Just make sure the photographer is taking the picture with the light behind them, and try and position everything so that there are now major shadows.

3. 

   Load the pictures on to the computer. Then crop the picture so that nothing but arms and upper half of babies body are seen.

4. 

   One your photo editing program change the picture (if haven't used the option on your camera already) to sepia. Then use the brightness/contrast setting to adjust the contrast. The goal here is to get the black t-**** to be a solid black background.

• It may take a couple attempts to get the hang of this technique.
