Mickey and Minnie Mouse lead the 2010 Christmas parade at Disney World.

While Disney World is filled with costumed characters, it can be a challenge to find Mickey or Goofy in the crowds. However, they and other Disney characters do have assigned places in the Magic Kingdom. They will be around those spots for most of the day.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to Main Street U.S.A. for Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Chip and Dale and Pluto. Pinocchio and a few other characters from "Pinocchio" are also on Main Street, which is the hub of the park.

    • 2

Visit the gazebo on Main Street USA. This is the place to get some autographs of Goofy, Peter Pan, and a number of other Disney characters.

    • 3

Reserve a seat at Cinderella's Royal Table. More than a dozen Disney characters take part in meals at this facility in the Magic Kingdom park. The Disney Princesses also sign autographs. The royal table is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations for any meal should be made at least 120 days in advance.

Walk around Adventureland and you should run into at least 10 characters. Some "Lion King" stars are stationed next to Aloha Isle, and Robin Hood and Friar Tuck from "Robin Hood" are in the breezeway leading to Liberty Square. "Aladdin" characters are near the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and Peter Pan, Captain Hook and a few other "Pan" characters are just across from the "Pirates of the Caribbean." Liberty Square is home to Pocahonotas and Meeko.

Mickey's Toontown Fair has Mickey in the judges tent, and Aurora, Belle, Cinderella and Snow White are in the Princess line inside the Toontown Hall of Fame.

The parade each day on Main Street USA is full of your favorite Disney characters. Get there early for the best viewing opportunities.

Some other characters include Winnie-the-Pooh, and Tigger too, in the Fantasyland section, Ariel the mermaid in Ariel's Grotto, and "Song of the South" characters near Splash Mountain in Frontierland.
