There are different reasons why people write but what it all boils down to is that people write because they have something to say. Writing is probably the oldest profession in the world aside from prostitution. It is lonely work but ideal for loners. It is not necessary to know proper English grammar and sentence structure. Just look at the writings of Mark Twain. Indeed, anyone who has a command of the English language or whichever is your primary language can get started right now. Note–you may or may not get paid depending on the publication.

    Make sure you’re in a room where it is quiet and you won’t be disturbed.

    Type in everything you want to say. Don’t worry if the spelling is wrong or if something is not grammatically correct in your eyes.

    Go back and proofread each sentence or paragraph several times if necessary.

    Make sure the article is exactly the way you want to be.
