How to Make Tea in a Coffee Maker

  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Cup or mug
  • Creamer (optional)

Instructions

      Fill in your coffee maker as you would normally for making coffee.

      Place 1, 2 or more tea bags (without any filter) in the filter bin of your coffee maker, depending on how many cups of tea you want to make.

      Start "brewing." If you want to have your morning cup of tea ready while you are taking a shower, put all ingredients in your coffee maker at bedtime and program it for morning.

      Your tea never tasted so good. Enjoy your beverage!

Tips & Warnings

  • If you want stronger tea add more tea bags.

  • If you wanted it light use more water.

  • Your beverage is hot.

    This can also be done using loose tea. Simply put tea in your filter instead of coffee - cone filter machines work best. I had to play around with the proportions a bit, but I ended up using approx 1/4 tsp per cup (according to the measurements on the side of the carafe). I did this using a good quality, fresh, high grown Ceylon tea and it worked wonderfully!!
