The argument has raged for decades: What determines the greatness or lack thereof of a particular sport? Most sports feature drama, especially to their fans. Excelling in any sport commands a high level of skill. The difference is that every sport requires a different level of athleticism. And that's how the greatness of those sports should be judged.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Think of various athletic talents, such as speed, quickness, jumping ability, power, endurance and hand-eye coordination.

  2. Step 2

    Write down a list of sports. Place next to the name of each sport every athletic trait that applies.

  3. Step 3

    Note that a sports such as golf and bowling require few of the athletic skills listed.

  4. Step 4

    Understand that excelling in sports such as soccer, tennis and basketball require nearly every athletic skill imaginable. Continue through your list of sports until you determine the sport that requires the most athleticism.

Tips & Warnings
  • Continue to participate in the sports you enjoy most. But if golf or bowling are your only athletic activities and you are out of shape, try to understand why. Attempt to mix in some tennis, basketball or even jogging to get the old heart pumping and improve your health.
  • Don't overdo any strenuous exercise if you're not accustomed to it. Work up slowly to long sessions.
