Most teachers are often faced with a few minutes of unplanned free time. This activity is a great way to keep your class occupied and engaged.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose one child to step outside the room for a moment.

  2. Step 2

Have the other children get into a large circle.

  3. Step 3

Select a leader of the circle and explain how the leader will make gestures that the whole circle will copy.

  4. Step 4

Have the chosen child come back into the room and get in the middle of the circle.

  5. Step 5

Have the circle begin following the leader's gestures but try to keep the leader a secret. The child in the middle has three guesses to guess who is leading the group.
