Are you going to trial and the evidence that will prove your case is just too big and clunky to bring in? Is it impossible to bring in? Is it a furnace or basement floor? Here are a few suggestions on how to get unusual evidence into your trial.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Photographer
  • Pictures

Step1
Get someone other than yourself to take many pictures of the evidence at different angles and views so that every part of what you want to show is clear and accurate.
Step2
Get these pictures developed on paper that stamps the date on each picture.
Step3
Have the photographer swear an affidavit stating that these pictures are true pictures of the evidence, and that they were taken on the specified day.
Step4
File the pictures and affidavit with the court and serve an identical copy with the other party within the submissive timeline prior to the trial date.
Step5
Get professionals who worked on or with your evidence to identify the pictures in court and confirm your findings.
Step6
Bring other witnesses into the trial that can swear their knowledge or affiliation with the evidence.
