Warts are caused by a virus and are benign skin tumors that occurs by itself or in clusters on any part of the body. Warts are caused by the various strains of the papillomavirus family. This article will show you how to treat and prevent warts.

  • wart remover solution
  • vitamin C
  • foot powder
  • Compound W Pad

Step1
To recognize a wart you need to know its appearance. Most warts are skin color, pale raised growth with rough textured surface. Some have a black color cap and even borders. Warts do not grow roots.
Step2
Vitamin A can be helpful in removing warts. Take a capsule containing 25,000 IU of vitamin A from fish oil and rubbed it onto the wart. Do this once a day.
Step3
Make a vitamin C paste by crushing a vitamin C tablet and mixing it into water to make a paste then apply it onto the wart and cover with bandage. Leave on for several hours. It is thought that the high acidity from the vitamin C can kill the virus forming the wart.
Step4
Try wart remover ointment which contains salicylic acid. For best results, try soaking the wart in water for ten minutes. This will soften the wart. Dry the area and then apply the wart remover ointment directly on to the wart for full penetration fro 10 minutes. Cover with a bandage.
Step5
Keep the skin dry since warts like to live and grow on moist surfaces. Apply medicated foot powder in to the sock to keep the feet dry. Also, use this technique for removing planter warts that grow on feet.
Step6
There are ways to avoid wart growth. wear open-toe sandals or shoes that will allow the feet perspire.
Step7
Always wear shoes or sandals, thongs when walking in a foreign place, like a gym., public bathing pools, locker rooms, beach areas.
Step8
Try not to touch the wart with your hands since warts spread easily by contact.
