This smoothie is great because it requires very few ingredients and is a great substitute to traditionally fatty breakfast foods.

From Quick Guide: Cold Breakfast Recipes
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blender
  • One cup of plain yogurt
  • 8 oz. of orange juice
  • Banana
  • Large cup
  1. Step 1

Chop up the banana into 8 to 12 slices.

  2. Step 2

Put banana, orange juice and yogurt into the blender.

  3. Step 3

Blend all three ingredients until texture is smooth.

  4. Step 4

Taste test the smoothie, adding more banana, yogurt or orange juice as you see fit.

  5. Step 5

Pour the finished product into a large cup and enjoy a healthy, low-fat breakfast!

Tips & Warnings
  • Many people find that they like the orange juice to outshine the other ingredients of the smoothie, so you may want to play with the amount of orange juice you use.
  • Many people also like to sprinkle shredded coconut either on top of the smoothie or blended in with the smoothie.
  • Though vanilla yogurt can be substituted for plain yogurt, plain works much better with the orange juice.
