Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Time
-
Step 1
Look online. There are Web sites that exclusively sell modest wedding dresses, or sell them as a subset of their wedding dress inventory.
-
Step 2
Add a jacket or shawl. You can be modest while wearing an immodest wedding dress by buying a jacket to wear over the top of the dress, or by adding a shawl. A shawl of satin, velvet or gossamer can add a touch of elegance while keeping you modest.
-
Step 3
Sewing. If you are talented at sewing, or know a seamstress, you can have a back or sleeves added to your wedding dress to make it modest.
-
Step 4
Make your own. Find a sewing pattern for a modest dress and either make the dress yourself, or have a talented seamstress make it for you.
