Making white or light color fabric look vintage.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Tea bags

Step1
Boil the tea bags, six regular size tea bags per gallon of tea.
Step2
Make a gallon of tea for each two yards of material you want to vintage.
Step3
Once the tea has cooled put the cloth into it and let it sit. The longer it sits the darker the staining will become. For two yards in one gallon of tea it would be good to let sit for twelve hours for medium staining, up to 24 for maximum.

Tips & Warnings

  • Note that the more tea bags per gallon will yield darker tea and that some of the staining will remove if washed.
