This recipe comes from Hawaii, where we eat a lot of Spam. Okay, so we usually eat it with rice, but it tastes really good this way too. Your guests will be surprised that the tasty flavor actually comes from this "mystery meat."

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 to 2 loaves of white bread, broken with fingers 1 can Spam, diced (use sausage if you don’t have Spam) 1 onion, chopped 1 can chicken broth
  1. Step 1

Fry the Spam and onions together over medium heat with a little butter. Make sure that you're using a large pot so that you can add the bread.

  2. Step 2

Once the onions and Spam have browned, slowly add the bread, mixing it with the Spam mixture as you go.

  3. Step 3

Add the chicken broth slowly to moisten the bread. The best way to keep from drenching the bread is to drizzle the broth into the pot, stir and add a little more until it's at the right consistency.

  4. Step 4

Add garlic salt or regular salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
