Shelter animals always need comfy bedding to sleep on. Donating your old, unwearable clothes, towels or bedding to a local animal shelter is a great way to help these animals out. It's also a perfect way to recycle old clothes and blankets.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Phone number of your local animal shelter.
  • Old, unwearable clothes, bedding or towels

Step1
Find out what animal shelter is nearest to you.
Step2
Call the shelter and see what they need in terms of bedding.
Step3
Drop off your old clothes, towels and bedding at the shelter. The animals there will be sleeping better tonight because of you!

on 12/10/2007 Great idea for helping shelters. Also, if you will have free time around Christmas, consider volunteering some time at a shelter to help out volunteers who work year round and may want some time off to be with their families.
