Having teething babies is never easy. Having teething twins is really, not easy at all. When it comes to taking care of teething infants and toddlers, especially twins, you need certain items in your arsenal. Read on to learn how to soothe teething infant and toddler twins.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Hand towel
  • Cloth rag
  • Sink faucet
  • Freezer
  • Gel Boo Boo Buddy
  • Lots of patience and understanding

Teething Items for Infants or Toddlers

Step1
For infant twins or singletons, the best thing that worked for my husband and I were the Gel Boo Boo Buddy available at your local grocery store or convenient store. These can be found in the baby section.
Step2
Teething lifesavers for infants help soothe the pain. Place these Boo Boo Buddies in your freezer until frozen. Take one out and place in your infants mouth to suck on. It is cold and your infant will not like this at first, but once your infant bites down on it (without teeth)it will make him/her feel much better.
Step3
Hand towels or rags cut into two's should be used once an infant cuts teeth. Once your infant has begun to cut teeth, this Boo Boo Buddy will not be a good idea. Instead, a rag or hand towel cut into two pieces, placed under a faucet then placed in your freezer for a while will work wonders with infants who now have teeth and teething toddlers.
Step4
Take the rag out of the freezer and soften under a faucet. After the rags or hand towels have hardened in the freezer, take them out and place them under running water to soften them. Once softened, ring them out by hand and hand them to your twins or singleton babies or toddlers.

Tips & Warnings

  • These items are a real help to new mom's of twins or singleton babies. The rags or hand towel, if on hand, are cost-effective and can be used over and over again.
  • Remember, the Boo Boo Buddy is really for little Boo Boo's and not teething, but something my Mom thought would work for my twins girls; and they did.
  • Once your infant cuts teeth, stop using the Gel Boo Boo Buddy and use a hand towel or rag, cut into two pieces, instead for safety reasons.
