How to Make A Holiday Decoration From Your Backyard

Need an idea for holiday decorations? Make a Twig Star. All you need are some twigs and some twine to make a really cool holiday decoration. Twig stars can be as big or as small as you would like, you can use any kind of twine or yarn to hold them together and they look great on the mantle!

Things You'll Need:

• A few even-sized twigs
• Twine, or yarn, or whatever else you would like to use to bind the star together.

1. 

   Decide how big you would like your star to be; then find some even-sized twigs from your backyard or local park.

2. 

   Place the twigs together to make a star shape.

3. 

   Bind the twigs together using red twine or yarn or whatever festive string you would like to use.

Tips & Warnings

• This decoration can be as big or small as you see fit and can be placed just about anywhere around your house for extra festive sparkle.
