Citrus fruits are wonderful fruits to have around for cooking, baking and refreshing drinks, but citrus fruits are not alway available or in season. The juice from the citrus fruit can be frozen for use at a later time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Citrus fruit of your choice
  • Ice cube trays
  • Plastic freezer bag or freezer container
  1. Step 1

    Cut citrus fruit of your choice in half.

  2. Step 2

    Squeeze the juice from the fruit. Discard any seeds.

  3. Step 3

    Pour citrus juice into ice cube trays and freeze.

  4. Step 4

    Remove frozen citrus cubes from trays and store in a plastic freeze bag or freezer container.

Tips & Warnings
  • Citrus cube can be thawed and used in cooking or baking to add flavor to a main dish or baked goods. Citrus cubes can also be used for flavoring cold drinks.
