If you love apples and nuts, this bread combines both in a delicious moist bread. Apple nut bread has chunks of apples, raisins and nuts that are combined into a great tasting bread that can be served hot or cold.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups chopped apples (about 2 large apples)
  • 1 cups chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 cup raisins

    Apple Nut Bread

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

  2. Step 2

    Sift flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon into a large bowl. Set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Combine sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla in a medium bowl.

  4. Step 4

    Stir apples, nuts and raisins into sugar mixture.

  5. Step 5

    Add mixture to flour mixture.

  6. Step 6

    Pour batter into loaf pan and bake 40 minutes.

  7. Step 7

    Cool 5 minutes. Turn out of cooling rack.
